Java Jive Studio
I am based out of Java Jive Studio, a spacious 2,000 square foot facility in Nashville, TN. It consists of a large, high-ceilinged main tracking room, a large control room, three good sized isolation booths, an editing/mixing suite with overdub room, and a comfortable break room.
The Control Room
The control room is built around a large format analog console (a 48 input D&R Cinemix with moving fader automation) and lots of outboard processing equipment.
It is 18 feet wide and 22 feet deep, and can accommodate up to a dozen people comfortably.
The Tracking Room
The Java Jive tracking room measures 18×28 feet, with the ceiling 12 to 17 high. The two small iso booths are 7×9 feet and 8×9 feet, and the third iso measures 9×14 feet. The editing/mixing suite is 9×14 feet, with an 8×8 iso. The break room/lounge, measuring 9 ½ by 15 feet, is also wired for use as a recording space, if needed.
